This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of specialists, you will lead strategic supply chain initiatives for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team’s impact on all aspects of delivering strategic insights, analysis, and recommendations to senior leaders across Blue Origin. The Operations Strategy group is responsible for leading strategic cross-functional projects to guide high-value and high-impact decisions across the production supply chain. This role will be responsible for digging into the specific challenges of a process and communicating the relevant information for senior leadership evaluation. Strong analytical, operational, and communication skills are vital for success in this role. Potential projects include insource versus outsource strategic and financial analysis, technical capability cost-benefit analysis, inventory strategy evaluation, process document authoring, enterprise software requirements management, creating strategic business processes, chartering the toolsets necessary to launch them, and other ad hoc cross-functional strategic projects.

 Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics
• 5 years of operations/supply chain experience
• Ability to understand engineering drawings (dwg) and basic manufacturing processes
• Capable of leading and communicating cross-functional initiatives for senior leaders
• Proven success in owning and driving a project from start to finish
• Led quantitative and qualitative projects
• Proven success in a highly ambiguous environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion
• Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA
• Experience working in an engineering-development organization
• Experience within aerospace and/or general manufacturing
• SQL or other coding ability
