Installation Technician

The successful candidate will be assist in constructing custom trade show booths and corporate event setups for our clients. A qualified candidate must:

• Have experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Have some building experience.
• Have some painting experience.
• Be able to take direction well.
• Have RELIABLE personal transportation to get to work every day.

Our company is seeking a highly skilled and creative Installation Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be assisting with constructing custom trade show booths and corporate event setups for our clients. This individual will need to be able to take direction well and be flexible with job and client needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements.
• Assist in building and assemble custom trade show booths and corporate event setups from scratch using various materials including wood, metal, plastic, acrylic, foam and fabric.
• Install and dismantle booths and event setups on-site at trade shows and corporate events.
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and materials used in the construction and installation process.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
• Knowledge of various materials and their appropriate uses in booth and event construction.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and travel as needed.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects and work in confined spaces.
• Enjoy working with your hands.
• At least 3 years experience working with power tools, painting and finishing work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• Painting: 3 years (Required)
• Carpentry: 3 years (Preferred)
• Drywall: 3 years (Preferred)
