Job Description

Blue Mountain Hospital, located in Blanding, Utah is seeking a full-time Admissions/Registration Clerk. Come be a part of the amazing Business Office Team at Blue Mountain Hospital.

The Admissions/Registration Clerk is responsible for performing a full range of financial, registration and administrative support duties associated with patient admissions and registration. Patient advocacy, public relations, phone systems, and customer service are a large part of this position. Confidentiality is a requirement of employment.

Qualifications

To be considered a candidate for this position, you must be dependable, have outstanding people skills, computer literate, able to learn and operate the phone system, organizational skills, detail oriented, and able to multi-task. A candidate must be able to follow directions, be a team player and work well with others.

• Basic medical knowledge preferred.

• Experience with insurance verification/authorization preferred.

• Experience with charting and paperwork maintenance a plus.

• Knowledge of Contract Health Services a plus.
