Duties:

  • Administering venipunctures and dermal punctures to collect blood samples.
  • Correctly identifying patients and diagnosing vein status while considering contraindications.
  • Following established protocols for specimen handling and processing, test analysis and reporting as well as maintaining records of patient results.
  • Assisting in resolving patient concerns and ensuring their needs are met professionally.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth, effective operation of our facility.
  • Contributing to quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
  • Consistently delivering exceptional patient service and creating a compassionate environment.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for Blue Lagoon ElderlyCare, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and patient care.

Requirements:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare acronyms.
  • Proven ability to record vital signs and patient health information accurately.
  • Compassion and patience while dealing with elderly patients or those with chronic illnesses. 
  • 18 years old and above
  • Proof of COVID vaccination
  • Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
