Skill Set/Requirements:

  • Strong ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Excellent physical health, capable of lifting or moving patients as necessary.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is preferable but not mandatory.
  • Must demonstrate empathy, kindness, and respect for the dignity and potential of all individuals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must pass a drug screen and background check.
  • 18 years old and above
  • Proof of COVID vaccination

Tasks:

  • Providing efficient and effective patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Assisting patients in daily activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
  • Taking vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
  • Documenting patient health status and nursing care in the patient health records.
  • Responding promptly to patient calls and assisting with patient transfers and mobility.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of all patient health information.
  • Participating in health education and recreational activities for patients.
  • Reporting any changes in the patient's condition to the registered nurse or physician.
