As a successful candidate, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Collection, preparation, and testing of blood samples using prescribed techniques.
  • Conducting various routine blood drawing procedures, including venipuncture.
  • Maintenance of all relevant records associated with phlebotomy procedures.
  • Ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.
  • Clarifying and discussing test results with physicians and allied health team members.
  • Sterilization and maintenance of medical equipment utilized in sample collection.
  • Adherence to infection control, safety policies, and standard phlebotomy procedures.
