The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will be part of our patient care team responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and day-to-day wellness of our senior residents. General details of your duties as a CNA are listed below. You will be under the supervision of a Registered Nurse for specific tasks that need their guidance and supervision.

Our ideal CNA candidate is someone who has the self-drive to learn more, the natural ability to make quick sound judgment under pressure and with minimal guidance when necessary, and the compassion and dedication to serve and support our residents.

Duties of our CNA

• Provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff
• Help residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, elimination
• Assist residents with nutrition and hydration, personal care, positioning devices, restorative care
• Take vital signs including, pulse, and blood pressure
• Assist with distributing meals, snacks and beverages among residents
• Assist in the transport of patients
• Build meaningful and effective connections with residents and their families

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years old and above
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Ability to undergo a background check
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Willingness to undergo training
• Home Care or Hospice experience encouraged but not required
