A Librarian at Blue Hills will support the following initiatives:●Curate Diverse Collections of print and digital resources that reflect the interests and needs of our student body, including fiction, non-fiction, reference materials, and multimedia resources.●Promote Literacy and Lifelong Learning by developing and implementing programs and initiatives to promote literacy, critical thinking, and information literacy skills among students. ●Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into curricula and support student research projects.●Create Engaging Spaces by designing and maintaining a welcoming and vibrant library space that inspires creativity, collaboration, and independent study. Organize displays, exhibits, and events to showcase student work, highlight new acquisitions, and celebrate diverse voices and perspectives.●Promote Technology Integration by staying informed about emerging technologies and trends in library science and educational technology.●Collaborate with school administrators, faculty, parents, and community members to promote the library as a hub of learning and collaboration. Seek opportunities to partner with local libraries, museums, businesses, and organizations to expand access to resources and enrich the educational experiences of our students.
