Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement engaging life enrichment programs and activities for residents
- Assess individual resident needs and interests to create personalized activity plans
- Coordinate and lead group activities such as exercise classes, arts and crafts, games, and outings. Creativity to implement diversified activities for highest possible resident engagement
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to resident care
- Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress

Requirements:
- Experience in caregiving or related fields such as social work, nursing home, or assisted living
- Knowledge of aging issues and ability to promote person-centered dementia care
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff members
- Ability to plan and organize events and activities
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with older adults
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs, schedules, and preferences of residents

Additional responsibilities include creating monthly calendars, newsletters, holiday decorating, budget management, participation in QA and Safety Committee Meetings, and occasional assistance with caregiving.
