JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for screen print teams completion of daily schedule by directing, organizing, planning, and assigning all screen print operations and activities by performing the following duties personally or through support personnel. Responsible for the implementation of all departmental policies, practices, and procedures pertaining to screen print personnel.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitors screen print schedule throughout the day and completes or delegates necessary tasks to assure schedules are being met.
• Reviews screen print schedules and provides feedback to the production scheduler regarding any discrepancies or required adjustments.
• Inspects and approves all machine set-ups utilizing design specifications, customer approved proof, and approval checklist.
• Monitors machine operation, product quality and pace.
• Interprets and enforces company policies and safety regulations.
• Ensure proper operation of screen print equipment, requesting maintenance when necessary.
• Recommends measures to improve screen print methods, equipment performance, and print quality.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems; or assists workers in solving work problems.
• Monitors screen print logging by employees.
• Coordinates proper routing of orders with production scheduler.
• Performs activities of workers supervised as needed.

• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the screen print department personnel. Carries out leadership responsibilities in accordance with company policies, procedures, safety, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assisting, and directing work; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Skills and Knowledge

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Strong skills in work planning, scheduling, and must have good judgment of color, design, and print quality.

Experience
3 to 5 years experience in garment branding, screen print environment, or related activities.

Responsible for other employees' performance, departmental productivity, product quality, and customer delivery.
