Duties include:

• Providing assistance to nurses and doctors on staff, and presenting day-to-day direct care to patients.
• Assisting patients with basic needs, such as bathing, dressing, grooming and toilet use.
• Monitoring and recording vital signs like heart rate, blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate.
• Assisting with patient mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
• Communicating with patients and their families, explaining care instructions and encouraging emotional support.
• Helping with food service, including feeding patients and recording their food and liquid intake.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene of patient rooms and communal areas.
• Following all health and safety rules to protect patients, self, and other hospital staff.

Requirements

• Must maintain current CPR certification.
• Must pass a thorough background check and drug screen.
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Proof of COVID vaccination
• Willingness to undergo training
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects
• High level of compassion and patience with sensitive demeanor to handle patients' emotional needs.
