Job Summary:As a Server at Hachi Sushi Pub, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch service to our valued guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving dishes, attending to customer inquiries, and ensuring the overall satisfaction of our patrons. Your dedication to creating a welcoming atmosphere will contribute to the success of our restaurant and leave a lasting impression on every guest.

Responsibilities:

Greeting and Seating: Welcome guests with a friendly smile and guide them to their tables, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.

Order Taking: Offer menu recommendations, take accurate food and beverage orders, and communicate special requests to the kitchen staff for a seamless dining experience.

Table Service: Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, maintaining a high level of product knowledge to answer any questions about our sushi offerings.

Customer Assistance: Be attentive to guests' needs throughout their dining experience, ensuring water glasses are filled, additional condiments are provided, and any other assistance required is promptly addressed.

Up-selling and Promotion: Familiarize guests with daily specials and promotions to enhance their dining experience and increase revenue for the restaurant.

Payment Processing: Handle guest checks efficiently, process payments accurately, and return change promptly.

Maintaining Cleanliness: Keep workstations, dining areas, and service areas clean and organized to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for guests.

Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

Handling Guest Feedback: Address guest concerns and feedback with professionalism and attentiveness, seeking resolutions to ensure positive experiences.

Requirements:

Prior Experience: Previous experience as a server or host in a restaurant setting is preferred, but we welcome individuals with a strong passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn.

Knowledge of Sushi: Familiarity with sushi and Japanese cuisine is advantageous, but not a strict requirement. We provide training to all team members to expand their knowledge.

Customer-Oriented: A friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-first mindset is essential.

Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues.
