We are looking for a licensed cosmetologist to help customers transform their physical appearance to their liking. You will be responsible for listening to the customer’s wishes and desires and provide them with the most suitable services.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge of improving hair, nails and skin. They will be deft and competent with a broad knowledge of trends and fashion.

The ideal is to achieve maximum customer satisfaction to drive long-term success for our business.

Pay: Based on experience - Combination of Hourly Rate, Tips and Commission of services and retail sales

QUALIFICATIONS:

• The Cosmetologist will have certification from a creditable Cosmetology or Esthetics school/university
• General retail experience
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Cosmetologist will be responsible for greeting guests visiting the Spa and/or Salon and providing them with appropriate information.
• Should be knowledgeable of all services the Spa provides, along with treatments and products that is offered.
• Utilize every opportunity to enhance the public image of the spa industry.
• Guard the guests’ privacy and modesty.
• The Cosmetologist will preserve the spa atmosphere at all times.
• Capable of performing all menu items in your service area of expertise accurately and timely to meet the guests’ expectations.
• Perform a relaxing service; recommend skin care products.
• Attend periodic meetings to inform you of new information; attend any product training seminars as requested.
• Keep your area clean; there should never be any visible dirt, dust or clutter in your work area.
• Communicate facility concerns to Corporate office via phone or e-mail; communicate spa staff concerns to Corporate office.
• Retail – all service personnel will be required to sell products to further our guests’ experience at home.
• Checking in and out inventory of your service bin with management for your shift.
• Preparing customer base reports for management.
• The Cosmetologist must be able to move all proper equipment for all menu services.
• Mobility to move about spa easily.
• Visual and auditory range must include immediate environment.
• Uphold standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures.
• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
• The Cosmetologist possess the ability to work without direct supervision.
• Assist in the writing of the treatment protocols.
• Updating treatment protocols when new products are launched.
