Stacking and storing bins and supplies. Handling loose fruit in bins. Loading or unloading trucks and placing fruit in storage. Handling supplies associated with packing fruit. Handling packed fruit properly. Loading and unloading pallets of packs. Perform work in safe manner while maintaining fruit quality.

Essential Functions

Must be able to work in an environment that has some dust, fumes and chemicals in the air and adverse weather conditions.

Ability to sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to access forklift and operate hand controls.

Sitting, twisting and looking over shoulder for extended periods of time.

Must adhere to company safety policies.

Must have ability to work as a team, cooperate with fellow workers and follow direction of supervisors.

Prompt and regular attendance required.

Experience Requirements:

Successful completion of forklift certification program

Physical Requirements:

The incumbent is required to stand and walk around work sites, and it is felt that the job responsibilities could not be met by people with severe restriction to their mobility. Moreover, given the accent on the communication process, it is felt that it would be extremely difficult to meet the job requirements with severe limitations in eyesight, hearing or speech.
