Blue Balloon is the right place for you! We are hiring a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Training Specialist that will support the training and onboarding of clinical Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technician (RBTs)

The ABA Instructor / Training Specialist responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Provide clinical training and post-training support to all new hires that come into the region (in school / community, in home and in EI Center)
• Assist BTs with RBT process
• Provide in-person training and virtual training sessions / study groups
• Provide field support (in school and in home)
• Host RBT exam prep classes / study support groups
• Interviewing RBTs and other Admin. Staff
• Additional administrative duties and responsibilities as needed

RBT responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Behavior Technician (BT)s provide intensive one-on-one therapy to children with ASD
• Implement behavior acquisition and behavior reduction plans
• Conduct stimulus preference assessments
• Collect data
• Maintain client's program book
• Develop / create teaching materials
• Provide basic care to the clients (e.g., toileting, eating)
• Discuss client's daily progress with parents / caretakers
• Work with BCBA to implement individualized goals and checklists
• Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
• Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients
• Maintain technical and professional knowledge with continuing education

Requirements for the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Training Specialist Role

• RBT Certification
• Previous experience training or leading BTs
• BCBA student
• Previous experience working with children; ASD experience
• Reliability- ability to work a consistent schedule throughout the week
• Background check clearance upon hire
• Access to a reliable vehicle or public transportation
