Salary: $28 - $30/hr base annual bonuses

Our manufacturing company, Bluco Corporation, has been designing and supplying precision modular fixturing systems to the welding and fabricating industry for over 30 years. We are seeking a CNC Machinist to help us achieve our goals who will primarily focus on making both prototype and small production jobs from start to finish using the latest CNC machine technology. We are currently hiring for the day shift, working (4) 10 hour days, 7am start (Monday – Thursday or Tuesday – Friday).

What you'll be doing when you join our company:

  • Run CNC dual spindle lathe and vertical/horizontal mill to produce prototype and small production jobs to completion.
  • Experience on DMG Mori machines is a plus but not required
  • Assist in training other machinists in equipment operation when necessary
  • Verify conformance of finished workpiece to specifications
  • Setup cutting tools per the instructions
  • Setup and teardown precision machining fixturing
  • Self-sufficiently operate 2 or more machines simultaneously

What we need from you to apply:

  • Experience in operating CNC machining centers
  • Must be able to solve complex problems that arise while making challenging parts
  • Well-versed in the usage and care of precision measurement equipment
  • Ability to work with tight tolerances
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Ability to read/interpret technical drawings

Other needs include:

  • Experience with CNC lathes
  • CNC Mill experience is a plus, but not required
  • Able to troubleshoot with no instruction
  • Able to lift 50 pounds frequently
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Able to operate a forklift, pallet jack and overhead crane
