Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support and care to individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, dementia, or other special needs
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication according to prescribed instructions
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes or concerns to a nurse or supervisor
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, ensuring dietary needs are met
- Engage individuals in social and recreational activities to promote their well-being
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals under your care
- Follow established care plans and document any changes or observations

Requirements:
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations
- Ability to work with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds
- Compassionate and patient demeanor when working with seniors or individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is a plus
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
