ntensive In-Home Team Lead Position
Intensive in-home service means family preservation interventions for children and adolescents who have or are at-risk of serious emotional disturbance, including individuals who also have a diagnosis of intellectual disability. Intensive in-home service is usually time-limited and is provided typically in the residence of an individual who is at risk of being moved to out-of-home placement or who is being transitioned back home from an out-of-home placement. The service includes 24-hourper day emergency response; crisis treatment; individual and family counseling; life, parenting, and communication skills; and case management and coordination with other services.
The Intensive In Home Services Team Lead, under the supervision of the Local Clinical Director is a crucial team member in providing therapeutic services for the continued progress of the member. This Licensed Professional leads a 3-person team, with a maximum case load of 12 families, and will be heavily involved with coordination of schedules for their team members to ensure the best use of time for their team, along with maximization of authorizations. You will ensure that authorizations are timely maintained and that your team is accurately documenting all area of treatment. The IIH Lead provides intensive behavioral and emotional services to children and their families within a community-based model. This person will also be responsible for providing therapy services for members, along with performing assessment(s) for authorizations and ensuring that Person-Centered Plans of care are accurate and executable. In providing such services he/she oversees the functioning of children with mental health diagnoses by conducting individual and family therapy, overseeing skill building activities, providing parenting education, intervening during a crisis, providing on-call coverage within the intensive in-home team 24/7/365, and monitoring symptoms of the child. This person responds appropriately and timely to crisis situations and develops plans involving the least restrictive setting; receives and provides clinical feedback; leads and participates in the clinical direction of each case assigned, including designating the appropriate team member for each consumer in accordance with their specialized expertise; collaborates, coordinates and advocates with collateral agencies and natural supports in order to meet family and consumer needs in all domains; applies knowledge of child growth and development to intervention development. Through ongoing education and training you will work in coordination with your Clinical Director in oversite of your team while assisting in providing services to our members. Services are provided in the client’s home, school, and community settings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Certification/License: LCMHC, LCMHC-A. LCSW, LCSW-A
As a therapist with BCS, you will coordinate and monitor the array of services and supports identified in each consumer's person-centered plan. These interventions are strength-based and focus on the promotion of recovery, symptom reduction, increased coping skills and the achievement of the highest level of social functioning. You will report to the Clinical Director and may manage two or more employees.
Job Responsibilities
As Licensed Clinical Supervisor with BCS, your responsibilities will vary based on the groups you work with and the programs through which you provide services. In all activities, you will coordinate closely with the interdisciplinary team to best help consumers, including behavioral health specialists, registered nurses, quality assurance specialists, paraprofessionals and the Clinical Director.

You must also excel at behavioral interviewing techniques to uncover consumer needs and be able to anticipate these needs.
