- Read landscape plans and layout/install landscapes according to plan
- Engaging with customers and ensuring they are satisfied with the final product
- Direct, oversee and participate in work performed by your team. This is a very hands-on position and requires this person to perform any task they would ask their team to do. You will be expected to work alongside them.
- Lead and instruct team to produce excellent and profitable final product.
- Understand and meet production and project schedule deadlines without sacrificing great customer service or excellent quality.
- Training new crew members.
- Maintain a clean job site, orderly and stocked equipment trailer.
- Overseeing maintenance of gardens, and ensuring proper use of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals.
- Completing inventory checks and equipment inspections.
Requirements:
- 1 year minimum experience, however 4 years of experience is preferred
- A valid drivers license and clean driving history is required
- Must be self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills.
- Must be professional in appearance and actions
- Must have the ability to be proactive, plan ahead and problem solve to minimize disruption, errors, risks and keep project on-task, within budget and on-time.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prefer applicant with horticulture, landscape and irrigation background.
- Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
