The Controller will direct the overall accounting functions at BRSI. He/She will compile all necessary financial data and oversee the preparation of forecasts, tax filings, financial, budget, auditing and other reports. The Controller will also ensure that BRSI complies with accounting regulations and standards.

The Controller will also assume the Accounts Receivable duties including all activities in the accounts receivable function. This includes ensuring accurate receivable records and verifying outstanding account balances. The Controller will create financial reports relating to the accounts receivable function and status of accounts.

The Controller will audit current methods and procedures pertaining to all financial functions and look to improve efficiency. Additionally, the list below specifies other duties and responsibilities:

• Monthly Financials including all Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations, Worker’s Comp, Jobs in Progress
• Provide Inventory Control Oversight
• Timely Filing of all Misc Tax Filings
• Audit Management
• Corporate Budgeting & Budget Control
• Financial Planning and Analysis
• Assist 3rd Party Accountants with Yearend Financial Statements and Tax Returns
• Understand company policies and procedures and ensure team adheres to them
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• 5 years' experience as a Controller, 10 years' experience in accounting
• Team player, able to give/take direction and be self-directed.
• Bachelor's degree
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Proficient in Accounting Software
• Percent of Completion Accounting
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
