Blondo Consulting, LLC is now hiring a Field Supervisor. This position has a six-month probationary period with the potential to become a full-time position with benefits and will be under the direction of the Principal Investigator and Project Manager. Job duties will include screening dirt, artifact and bone identification, commuting between facilities and report writing. Applicants must be located near the Twin Cities (Minnesota). The person hired for this position must be able to work independently and manage a group, have strong communication and organizational skills, and must be able to take direction from the Principal Investigator. Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in using programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and Google Earth Pro and have a reliable computer and transportation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, historic preservation or a related field
• Two to five years’ experience working in cultural resource management (CRM), with experience in Midwest Archaeology preferred.
• At least one-year supervisory experience.
• Interact with clients, landowners, contractors, tribal monitors, and representatives.
• Help clients comply with state and federal regulations, particularly for Minnesota.
• Prepare and assist with completing cultural resource survey reports, data entry.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Archaeology, Anthropology, historic preservation, or a related field
• 2-5 years of relevant post-education experience
• 2-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience with burial recovery or demonstration of osteology classes
• Demonstration of artifact analysis and report writing

Wage: $20/hr. or negotiable based on experience
