We're seeking a passionate Senior Product Software Engineer to join a growing FinTech startup in San Francisco. You'll be working on a consumer tax optimization product that helps everyday people manage their finances better. This is a unique opportunity to combine your Golang expertise with building a product that has a positive impact.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and implement backend features for consumer tax optimization products.
• Integrate with legacy systems using Go and leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies like BigQuery and Cloud Functions.
• Streamline payroll data from various sources to power our tax return forecasting model.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, data) to iterate on the product based on user feedback.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to deploy code efficiently and ensure a smooth user experience.

You're a great fit if you:

• Have 4 years of experience writing backend software, with a focus on product development.
• Are proficient in Golang and ideally have experience with JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js) as well.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you can learn and grow.
• Have a strong foundation in computer science fundamentals and a passion for solving complex problems.
• Enjoy taking ownership and working independently, but also appreciate the value of teamwork.
• Are a strong communicator who can effectively collaborate with engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
