Responsibilities

• We are seeking candidates to play a crucial role in our training services group by developing engaging and instructive eLearning courses and materials.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in eLearning development, graphic design, and multimedia production, with proficiency in the use of Articulate Storyline and other relevant tools.
• This role involves creating interactive and visually appealing eLearning content that meets the learning objectives and supports the overall educational goals of our clients.
• eLearning Content Design and Development: Use Articulate Storyline and other authoring tools (as appropriate) to create engaging and interactive eLearning modules that meet instructional goals and learner needs.
• Graphic Design: Develop and support all graphics requirements for eLearning courses, including illustrations, animations, and layouts that enhance the learning experience.
• Video and Media Production: Edit and produce instructional videos and media elements such as animations that complement eLearning materials.
• This may include recording, editing, and integrating video and audio components.
• Collaboration with Instructional Systems Designers (ISDs): Work closely with ISDs to ensure that what is storyboarded is translated into learner-friendly, instructionally-sound, engaging learning experiences.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of eLearning courses, including functionality, accessibility, and SCORM compliance.
• Stay Current: Keep up to date with the latest eLearning trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve the quality of learning materials

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in eLearning development and multi-media design, with a strong portfolio showcasing completed projects
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Articulate Storyline
• Strong skills in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Camtasia)
• Media Production: Experience in media and video production, including editing, motion-graphic design, sound design, and post-production.
• Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with ISDs, subject matter experts, and team members.
• Educational Background: A bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field
• Ability to assist in the design of learning that is both engaging and effective.
• Technical Skills: Familiar with the use of eLearning development tools such as Adobe Captivate, Lectora, and Articulate Rise
• Project Management: Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Programming Experience: Experience with the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Accessibility Understanding: Detailed knowledge of Section 508 requirements as applied to course design and development.
