Blinn College is Hiring a Dual Credit Coordinator Near Brenham, TX

To plan, organize, develop and assist in the administration of the instructional programs and related support activities for the college’s dual credit programs throughout the service area.

1. This is a 12 month, benefits eligible position. Blinn College pays 100% of health insurance for full time employees, 50% for dependents, and two times your annual salary in life insurance benefits. Position Details

Principal Accountabilities
Principal Accountabilities
1. Coordinate the integration of dual credit programs with student services, academic affairs and other areas of the college.
2. Conduct student and parent information sessions at high schools as requested while assisting students and parents as needed.
3. Assist the Dual Credit director in advising students, registering students, contacting school districts, maintain records and contacting students for both Academic and Technical Dual Credit classes.
4. Assists in the collection, processing, and tracking of paperwork required to enroll students into Dual Credit.
5. Coordinate and establish the presentation, application, and registration schedule with HS counselors.
6. Coordinate with school districts and department liaisons regarding the HB 5 College Preparatory Courses, course exams and training.
7. Manages dual credit student ID creation and issuance.
8. Manages Element Campaigns.
9. Coordinate with the Business Office and school districts for invoicing.
10. Performs other related tasks as assigned.

1. Proficiency with all Microsoft software programs
2. Travel as required
3. Valid State Driver’s license
4. Ability to work nights and weekends, as required
5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, faculty, parents and the general public
6. Excellent communication and organizational skills
7. Ability to work both independently and as a team.
8. Ability to relate to students between the ages of 13-21, as well as nontraditional participants
9. Outstanding interpersonal skills

1. Experience in admissions, advising, and/or recruiting in the high school or college level.
2. Experience in using Banner or an equivalent software in a college setting
3. Knowledge of the inner workings of high school education in the state of Texas.
