We are looking for an energetic, excited, and dependable District Manager to join our fast paced women’s boutique company. Must be located in Garden City, KS. This position is perfect for someone looking for leadership opportunities! Bling is the largest privately owned Women's Boutique Company in Kansas with 10 locations and 4 in Nebraska. We have big plans for growth and are looking for talented hardworking individuals to grow with us!!! The District Manager is responsible for the daily operations and sales for their area. It is defined as ensuring their store managers and their staff keep their stores to the highest possible standards, being well organized and properly merchandised at all times and that all policies, procedures, and controls are followed.

Duties:

  • Store Visits
  • Scheduled regularly to monitor progress and competency in the following areas:
  • Customer Service
  • Salesmanship
  • Store Operations
  • Loss Prevention
  • Product Levels and Product Request List
  • Sales and Operations
  • Maximize sales profitability across their area
  • Clearly define sales goals and ensuring those goals are achieved through regular monitoring
  • Clearly define operational expectations and ensuring those expectations are achieved through regular monitoring
  • Ensuring that salesmanship and customer service standards are being upheld
  • Increase standards of customer service and salesmanship
  • Accountability
  • That all store manager functions are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Quickly and courteously dealing with store issues
  • Motivate
  • Inspire and Encourage
  • Provide constructive feedback for the store manager and their team
  • Ensure quality and consistency of customer service, salesmanship and operations across their area
  • Training and Development
  • Effectively train store managers, assistant manager/MIT and sales associates per company standards
  • Hiring and Recruiting
  • Responsible to maintain a well trained staff in all positions across their area
  • Constant recruiting to maintain staffing and recruit for top talent

Coaching on the following:

  • Sales process
  • Employee training
  • Employee policy and procedures
  • Motivate and inspire staff
  • Greet every customer and determine customer wants and needs.
  • Product recommendations, selections, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
  • Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
  • Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
  • Exchange merchandise for customers and accept returns based on company policy.
  • Open and close cash registers, performing tasks such as counting money, separating charge slips, coupons, and vouchers and balancing cash drawers.
  • Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges, and security practices
  • Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash or credit payment.
  • Maintain records related to sales.
  • Watch for and recognize security risks and thefts, and know how to prevent or handle these situations.

Requirements :

  • Must love fashion and helping women create the perfect outfit
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Overnight travel to store locations in the area
  • Must be reliable and responsible
  • Willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of Social Media
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Minimum 2 years multi store management experience
  • Retail experience strongly preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
