Job Description

We are looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Associate to work in our marketing department and support several of our regional brands.

To be successful as our Marketing Associate, you must have excellent time management skills. You should be eager to keep abreast of industry innovations and new software. You will create and execute social media marketing efforts. You will need to have knowledge of how to make engaging content to drive brand awareness, generate leads, and connect with audiences.

Graphic design skills or knowledge of design tools like Canva, Adobe and Photoshop will be necessary for the content creation side, while social media management tools will help you track performance, measure success, and schedule content.

You will also need to be comfortable with customer service as you will be assisting with responding to customers who engage through social media tags or posts. You will also be communicating to customers through content copy, blog posts, and comment sections, so an understanding of the company voice and ideal customer is key.

You will be the go-to for the production of high-quality multimedia assets for our business, including podcasts, videos, ebooks, or other materials as needed. You may have to work on projects with other teams to make sure the messaging is correct, so should be ready to collaborate with others.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Evaluate and maintain a marketing strategy including social media, public relations efforts, and content marketing.
• Establish marketing tasks and priorities.
• Monitor marketing performance against business objectives and adjust plans as needed. Be an effective steward of marketing budget.
• Analyze business problems and make thoughtful recommendations as it pertains to marketing strategies and tactics.
• Utilize your understanding of paid, owned and earned media channels and how to effectively message across a mix of media types.
• Execute at a high level consistently and with minimal oversight.
• Confidently present and interact with supervisor and peers.
• Build brand awareness and positioning.
• Support sales and lead generation efforts.
• Conduct market research regarding the organization's products.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• Ability to effectively prioritize, work well in high stress situations and under tight deadlines.
• Analytical thinking capability.
• Superior project management and people management skills.
• Ability to effectively use Heartland Home Services marketing systems as well as a base level understanding of paid media.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively with others as part of a team or independently as required.
• Confidently presents and interacts with supervisor and peers.
• Minimum three years in a marketing support role.
• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or similar. (preferred but not required)
• HVAC industry experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in continuous improvement, fast paced environment.
• Strong computer skills in both Word and Excel. Ability to learn new software. Adobe experience a plus.
• Ability to make correct independent decisions when appropriate, organize and prioritize multiple tasks, and problem solve.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
