Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Risk Manager for renewals and audits for the various coverages;
• Assist Risk Manager with contract reviews with respect to insurance terms;
• Assist Project Teams with COI and endorsement procurement from Subcontractors and Vendors:
• Assist Risk Management and Legal with claims and data aggregation for TPAs and insurers;
• Work with outside and internal legal counsel relating to claims and disputes as applicable;
• Establish and maintain trend data for losses and insurance costs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required;
• Detail-oriented, analytical, creative, problem-solving, persuasive, and organized;
• Three plus years of relevant/related experience;
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively with co-workers of different levels;
• High level of integrity and capable of collaborating with groups;
• Capable and competent writing skills and proficient with customary technologies;
• Demonstrated leadership skills;
• Team builder that is able to work well within dynamic environment.

Other Information:

• Will report to Corporate Risk Manager and US General Counsel;
• This position will be located in Birmingham Headquarters building;
• Minimal travel required;
• Salary position with an expected 40-hour work week.
