Elementary/Middle School Nurse

Blessed Sacrament Catholic School is seeking a full time nurse to administer and supervise health care for students on a daily basis and to manage and maintain medical records and medical supplies.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Administer medication as needed to students and alert parents, if necessary
• Ensure all Prescription Medication forms are properly filled out and signed by physician and parents
• Maintain daily medical logs
• Comply with state laws and ensure all Immunization Certificates are up to date
• Attend audit of records
• Coordinate hearing and vision screening for school
• Keep general medication stocked and equipment in working order
• Educate teachers/children about disease/hygiene
• Assist in the main office, as needed
• Assist with coordinating health screenings/athletic physicals in the fall

Experience:

· BSN is preferred

· At least 1 year pediatric nursing experience is preferred

Pay commensurate with experience
