Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. As an OT, you will play a crucial role in helping students achieve their full potential by providing specialized therapy services to address sensory, motor, and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine students' strengths and areas for improvement
• Developing individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals
• Implementing evidence-based interventions and therapeutic activities to improve students' functional abilities
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support
• Monitoring students' progress and adjusting intervention strategies as needed
• Providing guidance and support to educational staff on implementing accommodations and strategies in the classroom

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Valid license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Delaware
• Experience working with children and adolescents, preferably in a school setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and learning
