We are partnering with aschool in the Bremerton, Washington area to finda full-time Registered Nurse (RN) for a 4 week assignment. We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable candidate interested in helping students ingrades K - 12th to join our Special Education team!

Requirements:

• Must have Bachelors Degree in Nursing
• Must have active RN Washington License or a Compact License
• Must be certified in CPR or BLS (or willing to obtain licensure)
• Must pass WA Sate fingerprint requirements
• Must have 1 year experience in either: public health nursing, community health nursing, school health, or pediatric nursing
• Must have knowledge of specialized medical equipment (feeding tubes, pumps, etc.)

Position Details:

• May 13, 2024 - June 14, 2024
• Full-time / 37.5hours perweek
• Caseload: K - 12th grade, specifics will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $40 - $55 per hour, depending on previous experience

General Responsibilities:

• Update individual health plans for students
• Coordinate and oversee health services within the school, including managing the health office, maintaining student health records, and ensuring compliance with health regulations and policies.
• Assess and provide immediate care for students and staff who are injured or ill during school hours.
• Administer first aid, dispense medications, and implement emergency protocols as necessary.
• Communicate with parents, guardians, and emergency medical services as required.
