We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Paraprofessional to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing instructional activities and strategies to meet the individual needs of students.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with classroom management and behavior support strategies.
• Support students with activities of daily living, including feeding, toileting, and mobility, as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous experience working with students in an educational or childcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with diverse learning needs.
• Ability to follow directions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds and assist with physical support of students as needed.
