Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
• Valid teaching certification/license in Special Education
• Knowledge of local and state special education regulations and policies
• Previous experience working with students with diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with other educators and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching methods to meet the unique needs of each student
• Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, social skills, and life skills
• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other stakeholders about student progress and challenges
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and administrators to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
