Educational Diagnostician (Ed Diag.)

Location: Austin, TX

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Educational Diagnostician to join our team in Austin, TX. This role involves working closely within an educational setting, supporting students, staff, and families to ensure the delivery of high-quality special education services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify learning challenges, disabilities, and individual educational needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to students' specific needs.
• Provide recommendations for appropriate interventions, accommodations, and instructional strategies to support student success.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, meetings, and student progress.
• Serve as a resource for teachers and staff on matters related to special education policies, procedures, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Valid certification as an Educational Diagnostician in the state of Texas.
• Experience working in educational settings, conducting assessments, and developing IEPs.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
