K-12 Onsite School Psychologist
Location: Bristol, CT
Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite, Contract
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated School Psychologist to work onsite with our K-12 students in Bristol, CT for the remainder of the current school year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a range of psychological services, including assessment, consultation, and intervention, to support the academic and social-emotional development of our students.
Job Description:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify learning, emotional, and behavioral strengths and challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement interventions and support plans
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students to address emotional and behavioral concerns
  • Participate in IEP and 504 meetings and provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications
  • Consult with teachers and parents to provide guidance and support in addressing academic and behavioral challenges
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid Connecticut certification as a School Psychologist
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a School Psychologist preferred
  • Strong knowledge of educational and psychological assessment practices and interventions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and priorities

This is a full-time onsite contract position with benefits, including health insurance and 401K with employer match. The schedule will be aligned with the school calendar and will only be from Mon-Fri; normal school hours only.
