A DAY IN THE LIFE This role partners with functional areas of the business on improvement and transformation projects in an effort to optimize the core business processes. This position will support various continuous improvement activities across Blattner’s continuous improvement lifecycle stages of Discovery, Implement and Sustain. Activities include A3 development, 5S, kaizens, problem solving and root cause analysis across multiple projects and core business processes. This role will also train and mentor process owners, functional leaders and key individual contributors in the organization on lean and six sigma methodologies. WHAT YOU’LL NEED Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management or similar; or equivalent combinations of education and experience. Three or more years of business process improvement preferrably functioning inside a construction and/or services company required. Previous practical experience in facilitating or training on lean tools, concepts, and process improvement. WHAT WILL SET YOU APART Experience in the Renewable Energy industry. A Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent related experience is preferred. Advanced understanding of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
