NEED 1 CDL CLASS A or B DRIVER WITH FLATBED EXPERIENCE-MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE A MANUAL AS WELL AS AN AUTOMATIC. WILL BE PULLING GOOSE NECK AND FLATBED TRAILERS

FULL TIME POSITION

WORK SCHEDULE EARLY MORNING DEPENDING WHERE THE LOAD IS GOING

ALL JOBSITES IN INDIANA

8-12 HOUR WORK DAYS MONDAY THRU FRIDAY NORMALLY

BUT DURING REALLY BUSY PERIODS COULD ALSO WORK SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS.

SOME PHYSICAL LABOR INVOLVED STRAPPING AND TARPING WHEN NEEDED, ASSIST IN LOADING AN UNLOADING MATERIALS AND/OR EQUIPMENT.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Responsible for transporting materials, equipment and supplies to and from jobsites, warehouses and other destinations. Warehouse support as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Pickup and deliver cargo as required

Load and unload truck

Inspect truck daily to ensure working conditions

Overall maintenance and regular servicing of the vehicle

Work in warehouses as directed and workload requires

Additional projects as assigned by manager

KNOWLEDGE:

Must be 21 years of age, and have a commercial driver’s license

Competent driving skills

Knowledge of how to maintain truck

Knowledge of state transport regulations

Must be punctual

REQUIRED PHYSICAL ABILITIES:

Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, use stairs and move from one area of the building to another on a regular basis

Manual and physical dexterity needed to handle paper documents

Sufficient near vision acuity to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper

Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone

Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds unassisted
