Job Description:

The Blake School seeks to hire a collaborative, creative and dynamic Spanish teacher to join our Upper School modern & classical language department. This is a 1.0 FTE interim position for the 2023-24 school year with the possibility of an ongoing appointment dependent on the timeline of the search. Candidates should have both experience with and a love for teaching adolescents with a wide range of Spanish language proficiency. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to using learner-centered, inquiry-based pedagogy and experience in developing strong curriculum for both language and intercultural competency development. Upper School faculty regularly engage with the broader community experience by advising students, chaperoning school events, and participating in school meetings, committees and events.
