Position Title: Housekeeper (Part-Time)
Pay: $15 - $17 / hour
Schedule: 10:00am – 2:30pm, including every other weekend

Blakehurst is recruiting for a hospitality focused Housekeeper to join our team! This position is responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Performs general housekeeping duties such as vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
- Performs general housekeeping duties of common areas as directed by supervisor.
- Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Maintains resident confidentiality at all times.
- Exemplify at all times community standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and organization.
Qualifications:
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift thirty pounds.
All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility. Some of the roles in our community also require that we ask about your vaccination status.
