Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field preferred.

Experience:

• 5 years of commercial estimating experience.
• 3 years of sales experience.
• 3 years of hands-on woodworking experience preferred.

Skills: This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills. The successful candidate must excel at developing teams and building relationships with clients and internal partners. A self-starter, the individual should work independently with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail. Experience with Innergy software is a plus.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Estimating Management: Conduct estimating job functions and manage the estimating department, Review each estimate for quality and accuracy, preparing appropriate pricing.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan, Conduct sales and relationship-building efforts, Train subordinates in effective communication.
• Performance Accountability: Accountable for meeting estimating department sales goals/metrics.
• Process Improvement: Program, follow, and adjust the estimating process as necessary, Maintain and adjust estimating system/software templates, Participate in the process improvement program.
• Communication: Maintain effective communication with other departments, Support the estimating team in understanding project drawings, specifications, and related factors.
• Cost Estimation: Review material pricing, labor productivity, and other metrics to improve cost estimates, Work Hours: Requires extended workdays, as needed to ensure deadlines and goals are met.
• Travel: Requires travel for client relationship meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
