Blackthorn Posting is Hiring a Remote Product Manager

Role: Product Manager

Description: Product Managers at Blackthorn are responsible for overseeing and managing the production of a product from beginning to end. 

Base Salary: $100,000

What you’ll do

  • Become an expert and fully own our customer needs and expectations and translate that understanding into a strategy and roadmap for Blackthorn FinTech applications
  • Vet and scope product requirements from internal and external channels
  • Build an understanding of our main customer segments (from SMB to Enterprise and across industries) and the primary use cases for Blackthorn.
  • Lead, support and collaborate with a passionate, cross-functional team of engineers, user researchers, designers, and marketing managers as a Product Owner to execute against the planned roadmap and continuously up-level the FinTech experience.
  • Perform a needs and revenue analysis to make data-driven approaches to new features to develop or features to sunset.

What we look for

  • You work with urgency and are highly self-motivated to get things done
  • 2 years of experience as a product manager or product leader of a software product, with experience growing products through a combination of big bets and experiments.
  • Have the ability to organize and communicate vast amounts of complexity.
  • Have built products by collaborating cross-functionally across engineering, product, data and analytics, marketing, design and other key stakeholders.
  • Not only have you shipped new products, but you’re obsessed with continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of small, medium and large releases.
  • Strong analytical skills and mindset.
  • Salesforce experience as an administrator or power user
  • Experience in a Product role on a Scrum team 
  • Ideally, you've worked on a Payment or E-Commerce product
  • Bonus: You've worked on a Salesforce.com AppExchange product
