Required - Education, Experience, and Skills:

Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field (materials science, chemical engineering, physics, chemistry) is strongly preferred
2 to 5 years of experience in a laboratory environment. Analytical lab experience and materials testing experience is desirable.
Ability to remain calm and to think carefully while handling multiple, competing priorities in a continuously changing environment
Hunger for rigorous, data-driven inquiry is required. Familiarity with Python (or a similar high-level programming language) and/or a database query language is desirable.
Appreciation for and adherence to lab and work safety policies.
Exposure to chemical process design, materials science foundations, and/or statistical analysis are all desirable.

Responsibilities

Designing and conducting experiments to advance existing and develop Client production methods.
Performing wet and dry lab sample synthesis preparation and characterization techniques Evaluating experimental battery materials using electrochemical techniques in Li-ion battery cells
Recording and reporting testing results in accordance with organizational needs
