Be Inspired.Job DescriptionAs a Senior Tax Associate, you will prepare a variety of tax engagements including individual and non-profit returns. You will be expected to manage clients independently and possess excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills. Apply tax knowledge to preparation and/or review of individual and non-profit returns.
Gather data from client and third party sources
Perform tax research with view for compliance and alternatives to satisfy client's objections
Prepare/analyze income tax notices for federal and state jurisdictions
Client management and participation in marketing/business development
Participation in recruitment and supervision of entry-level staff

Requirements:

3-5 years of tax preparation experience
Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and complete assignments within time constraints and deadlines.
Excellent work ethic and a sense of humor are a must!

Preferred Qualifications:

Credentials - CPA/EA license or candidate
Individual and Non Profit tax return experience (including Form 990 and 990 - PF)
Knowledge of CCH Axcess Tax, CCH Engagement, and QuickBooks
