Overview

The BHN Compliance Department is seeking a full-time Compliance Coordinator. This position will be based at the Blackhawk Network El Salvador Center The candidate will perform second line of defense activities and will be reporting to the Regulatory Compliance Manager of the APAC Region. This individual must be exceptionally organized, resourceful and detail oriented, and will be primarily responsible for supporting BHN’s compliance initiatives that encompass policies, laws and various regulation requirements in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. Preferred working hours include supporting the APAC Region (afternoon/evenings in El Salvador).

Responsibilities

• Conduct “Know Your Customer” due diligence in line with anti-money laundering regulations in the APAC Region. Within the second line of defense work, undertake transaction monitoring to identify potentially suspicious activity and execute follow-up protocols with internal teams and validate that partner onboarding and other compliance related functions are working as expected.
• Assist with other compliance projects and objectives as assigned from time to time.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn, navigate and work across various internal technological platforms and systems.
• Ability to communicate very well in writing and on the phone.
• Excellent judgment and ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as a team player. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a drive to deliver outstanding results.
• Experience with compliance or risk program execution preferred.
• Experience or certification with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), regulatory compliance, auditory, or risk analyst role is preferred but not required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
