Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other finishes to various surfaces. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will contribute to the overall success of our projects. Duties: - Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping, and sanding as necessary - Apply paint or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers - Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades - Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas - Repair cracks, holes, and other surface imperfections prior to painting - Ensure proper ventilation in work areas to minimize fumes and odors - Follow safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required - Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools Experience: - Proven experience in construction painting, masonry, or related field - Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials - Proficiency in caulking, blueprint reading, and surface preparation - Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area - Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in painting projects - Experience with airless paint spraying is a plus - Additional skills in carpentry or general maintenance person work are beneficial We offer competitive pay based on experience and skills.
