Blackford Veterinary Surgery Referral is a privately owned growing veterinary surgery referral practice in the Knoxville area. We are currently looking for a part time veterinary receptionist to aid in the scheduling of appointments and surgeries. This position will include answering the phones, maintaining a pleasant team oriented attitude, scheduling appointments, emailing, faxing, scanning, and maintaining the highest level of professionalism with all clients and referring veterinary offices.
To qualify for this position, the veterinary receptionist must have at least 2 years experience in a customer service environment. Candidates that have veterinary receptionist experience are strongly desired. Other requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, passing a drug test, passing a background check, reliable transportation, a great attitude, punctuality, and a passion for customer service and animals.
The applicant for veterinary receptionist must be a self starter, having a strong work ethic, have a team oriented attitude, and be able to multi task. This receptionist position requires impeccable communication skills. Please be advised that we are a tobacco free work environment, which means tobacco usage on the property is not allowed by employees.
