The Governors of Cedars Primary School wish to appoint an enthusiastic, dynamic and creative SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant to support a child with their individual needs. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right candidate to become part of our school.

On our continued journey of excellence, we are looking to appoint a high quality SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant who can inspire, motivate and support all of our pupils to achieve their full potential.

We are looking to appoint a SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant who is hard working and an enthusiastic individual. Experience of working with SEND pupils, implementing strategies following advice from external agencies and current experience of working in a Primary School is essential.

Our SEND Teaching and Learning Assistant will need to be:

~An excellent support to the class teacher, with high expectations of children’s achievements, attainment and behaviour.

~Optimistic, embracing new ideas, challenges and change

~Passionate, with drive and enthusiasm

~Calm and nurturing towards our children

~Able to motivate and inspire the children they support

~Able to work in partnership with pupils, parents, staff, governors and colleagues in our school’s cluster.
