Our company is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate to join our team in Shreveport, LA.

We are an automation and electrical services provider primarily serving the oil and gas industry.

This role is a great opportunity to gain experience with the company and develop warehouse, software, and customer-service knowledge.

This role will work closely with field technicians, and customers.

The ideal candidate would have a strong desire to gain knowledge, have strong communication skills, and possess self-drive.

Job Duties

• Receive items against packing slips and verify packing slip reflects received items
• Process all necessary RMA's for defective inventory
• Process packing slips in ERP System accurately
• Process all front counter orders
• Process warehouse transfers
• Issue materials to field service orders
• Assist service technician inventory checkouts
• Process all shipping, receiving and warehouse transfer needs
• Build kits for service installation team
• Ensure all inventory items are accurately labeled on shelves.
• Ensure items are stocked in pick bins
• Clean warehouse and maintain professional appearance of warehouse
• Complete quarterly inventory counts
• Conduct daily cycle counts
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Computer literate
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities required. This role will interact daily with field technicians and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1- 2 years Oil and Gas industry experience preferred
• Prior knowledge of Epicor Prophet 21 or other similar inventory software a plus.
• 1-3 years warehouse experience
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License
• Must be able to speak, write, and read English fluently
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move at least 50 pounds
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
