Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Editor and FX talent to join our team and use their expertise to help tell a story on a short film. As an Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all videos meet our standards of excellence. The ideal candidate should have a strong eye for detail, excellent technical skills, and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities:

- Be on set for three days for filming purposes of specific scenes to assist director and offer direction so post production editing and file management can be turnkey.
- Edit raw footage into polished videos, ensuring a smooth and cohesive final product
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project requirements and objectives
- Use video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects to create visually appealing videos
- Enhance videos with graphics and effect
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time and meet quality standards
- Manage the editing and prioritize tasks effectively
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video editing and production
- Provide constructive feedback to improve the overall quality of videos

Skills:
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects
- Strong knowledge of 3D animation, graphic design, typography, and photo manipulation
- Familiarity with content management systems for organizing and storing video files
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with the production team
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
