Responsibilities:

1. Asphalt Distribution: Assist in the distribution of hot mix asphalt onto prepared surfaces using lutes, shovels, and other hand tools.

2. Leveling and Smoothing: Operate the lute, a specialized tool used to spread and level asphalt to the desired thickness and smoothness.

3. Quality Control: Monitor the thickness and consistency of the asphalt layer to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
