Summary: Performs general landscaping tasks.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Planting
- Trimming
- Mulching
- Fertilizing
- Spraying
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to operate trucks and various equipment of the trade
OTHER PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Drive motorized vehicles
- Work around machines
- Work above floor level
- Exposed to dust, fumes, gases
- Exposed to marked changes in temperatures
- Work outdoors in varying weather
- Repetitive foot movement to operate foot controls (both feet)
- Repetitive hand movement (firm grasp, fine manipulation, grasp & pull) - both hands
- Various head and neck positions (frequent flexion)
- Must be able to push/pull and lift/carry up to 40 lbs frequently, and up to 100 lbs occasionally
Experience
Required- 1 - 2 years: Related experience
Education
Preferred- High School or better
Licenses & Certifications
Preferred- Valid US Driver's License
